Extra Flying Visit matinee
Hello!
Sorry, I wasn't intending to badger you about the tour again, but I thought I should just quickly let you know that because the Richmond date has sold out (hooray!), we're putting in an extra matinee that afternoon. So, if you wanted to come but were too late to get tickets, now you can!
We've also sold out in Edinburgh, but sadly they can't fit an extra show. (FYI: I think we'll probably sell out in Leamington quite soon as well, and possibly in Basingstoke. I'm not saying this out of salesmanship, you understand, but just as information.)
One place we definitely won't sell out, because it's MASSIVE, is the New Alexandra theatre in Birmingham tomorrow. So do come! We've just had a lovely three day rest, so it should be a very good one. Ok, now I've mentioned everywhere except Swindon, Dorking and Tunbridge Wells, so perhaps I should mention them too. Oh look, now I have done.
(We're having the time of our lives, by the way. It turns out touring is the most amazing fun, especially when it's with four of your best friends. Lawry managed to make me laugh until I choked the other day just by growling the word 'yellowhammer'. Also, there's a bit in the show which requires me doing some research about the town or city we're in, and as a result I now know far more than I ever thought I would about the mayor-weighers of High Wycombe, the Winkle Club of Hastings, Preston's butter pies, York's geese and Cheltenhams's minotaur. Thank you very much if you came along to any of those shows!)
What else? Radio 4 are repeating the first series of Double Acts at the moment, so they are, or will be, available on iPlayer. Oh, and I was a guest on a very good new podcast about comedy called Rule of Three, talking about On The Hour with Joel Morris and Jason Hazeley.
That's all, I think. Bye!
Love,
The Airport.
