Library Editions, and other bits and pieces.
Hello! Happy Autumn. That jumper suits you.
So... in November and December we're recording what, astonishingly, seems to be series seven of John Finnemore's Souvenir Programme. Tickets to see the recordings aren't available yet, but when they are, they will be here. However, before there can be Souvenir Programmes there must be Library Editions - the series of semi-secret try-out nights of new sketches I do in Kensington Library. Tickets for that are available right now, as well they might be, since the first one is in just one week's time. Drum roll please, as I will now attempt to do six separate links; each one matching the correct date to the correct ticket page. History suggests I will almost certainly mess up at least two of them. Still, here goes...
Friday September 22nd
Friday October 6th
Wednesday October 18th
Wednesday November 1st
Wednesday November 15th
Wednesday November 29th
So, come along, if you fancy it. It's 7:30 for 7:45; and tends to be over between 9 and 9:30. Children old enough to know which bits to be quiet in and which bits to laugh at are welcome. Come to think of it, that goes for adults too.
Other news: Series 2 of Double Acts is now available to buy both as a download and as a CD. And so is Series 6 of Souvenir Programme (and all the other series, come to that.) And if both of those links came out right as well, then I want a medal.
On the radio, I'll crop up in the next series of The Unbelievable Truth, telling lies about bees and parents; and also in the next series of My Teenage Diary, in which I am told I am not allowed to tell lies, and about which I am absolutely terrified.
Live, I'll be doing Tall Tales at the Good Ship in Kilburn on the 27th September, and Questing Time at the Phoenix near Oxford Circus on 8th October. And this very evening, I'm doing the spoof interview podcast Inside The Comedian, in which David Reed asks me rude questions about a made-up career. It's at King's Place near King's Cross at 9pm tonight. Shall I attempt one more link? Why not.
Right. That's it, I think. Bye!
