More Library Editions! Plus an oddly busy week.
Hello!
Hope all's well with you, you're looking great, what a lovely hat, it suits you. Or, if you're not wearing a hat: why not try a hat? I think it would suit you.
Oh, well, if you insist, let's talk about me. Thank you so much if you came to the last two Library Editions, my secret sketch try-out nights in Kensington, they were enormous fun. If you didn't- or indeed if you did, since it will be different material - we're doing two more! Tickets are now available here, for Tuesday 27th September, and Tuesday 25th October. All the Souvenir Programme cast will be there, except Margaret, who has been suspended for two matches for swearing at the referee. They're from 7:30 to about 9, and are suitable for clever children, and stupid adults.
Other little bits and pieces I'm doing this month include:
A live recording of the excellent podcast International Waters, alongside Josie Long and Jon Hodgman, on the 24th September.
I will be trying out a new Since You Ask Me tale at the wonderful comedy story-telling night Tall Tales in Kilburn on the 28th September, along with a host of excellent people who will make me look bad by having finished their stories before they arrive. Which I still say is cheating.
Finally, in an extremely unlikely turn of events, I will be 'singing' live on Radio 3 on Sunday 30th September. Yes, I know. I promise you, you're not as surprised as I am. This is part of Radio 3's live broadcast from the Southbank Centre - I will be interviewed by Sarah Walker on Essential Classics, and Susannah Pearse and I will perform a couple of new sketches. It's at the Southbank Centre from about 10am to 12 - I don't think you need tickets, you can just turn up. Or, of course, you can hear it on the radio.
So, there you go. If you're near London in the last week of September and do not see me, it's definitely not my fault.
Love,
The Airport.
PS Last time I sent one of these, it only had two links, and I still managed to mess one of them up. This one has five. Good luck, everyone...
